Grace has been wonderful from start to finish. We started off with Christie DeVito being the nurse for our aunt and she gradually became the nurse for uncle during the same time. As the primary caregivers for both, my husband I were overwhelmed often and looked for guidance often. Christie was always available, made a point to connect with us after her visits even if we were not present, made connection with our 13yo and truly became apart of our family. I believe people can be smart, they can know how to be a nurse but not everyone brings compassion, empathy, warmth and understanding. Christie did it all, all the way to the end. When our aunt died, while our uncle sobbed he asked “ will I still get to see the nice nurse” we reassured him. She provided safety and built trust. She is an amazing human being and Grace is lucky to have her.

Sammy the chaplain was also amazing. Always reached out, provided and offered support. Our uncle always asked and looked for “ the nice man who comes to pray with me.”

I pray God blesses Christie and Sammy and pray they continue to be the light when families feel like all they see is darkness.

Debbie and all the staff at Grace were so attentive and caring. My father’s death was very unexpected. He fell and could not recover from his injuries. The Grace staff treated him with dignity and made his final days as comfortable as possible. I want to sincerely thank everyone at Grace for the incredible care and concern they have shown to my family and me. A special thank you to Michael Askin for always treating my father and me with such respect and kindness. I would also like to recognize Nurse Christie for going above and beyond—she was always there to answer our calls and messages, which meant so much to us. Grace Hospice was wonderful! My mother‘s nurse Christi was amazing! She was pleasant, thoughtful, and caring during my moms time with her. She addressed all our concerns and always made herself available when we needed her. I would recommend Grace Hospice.

Grace Hospice has amazing nurses and aides. Piere our nurse was so gracious and kind throughout our experience using Grace. A year ago today my dad died.  And as I grieve at his grave, I can't help but remember how well he was cared for while on hospice.  Thank you for giving my dad the dignity and respect he deserved in his last months.  I am truly grateful for your team.  And they took care of me too.  Making sure I was supported while Death's gentle hands guided my dad away from Life.
